K’taka man booked for rash driving on Goa beach

The Goa police have registered a case against a man from Karnataka for allegedly endangering the lives of public by rash driving at Vagator beach.

Anjuna Police station Inspector registered the case against the driver, identified as Mallappa, a resident of Belagavi under sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code.

The accused was driving the Mahindra Bolero vehicle (bearing registration number KA-22 B- 5749) in a rash and negligent manner at the beach here.
