Will be joining Congress party on Makara Sankranti: Y.S.V. Datta

Kadur: Former MLA Y.S.V. Datta officially announced that he is joining the Congress party on the day of Makar Sankranti.

Speaking to reporters at his residence in Yagati village of the taluk, Datta said that he has received a call from the Congress leaders two days ago asking him to join the party on January 15. “I will be joining the Congress party at the KPCC office in Bengaluru in the presence of KPCC President D K Shivakumar and Congress leader Siddaramaiah,” he said.

He said, he had worked for one party for the past 50 years, but now he is inevitably joining Congress. “In February my fans and other activists will also join the Congress party at an event in Kadur,” he added.
