Experimental theatre director Gopalakrishna Nayari passes away

Mangaluru: Veteran drama artiste and experimental theatre director Gopalakrishna Nayari passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 6. He was 68.
Nayari was a resident of Karkada, Saligram in Udupi. He graduated from the National School of Drama, New Delhi.
Nayari was an ex-member of the NSD Repertory company and a recipient of the prestigious Karnataka Nataka Academy Award.
He was supposed to be felicitated at the 86th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana in Haveri today.
