Yallamma pilgrims injured after their tractor overturns

At least 15 people sustained injuries after the tractor that they were travelling in overturned and fell into a 20-feet ditch near Kulali on Friday.
The victims, residents of Navalagi village had gone to attend the Savadatti Yallamma Devi Jatra two days ago. When they were returning to the village, the tractor’s driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn. Four people were seriously injured while others sustained minor injuries in the mishap.
Locals rushed to the rescue of the accident victims and immediately called for an ambulance. They also managed to lift the overturned tractor and save further casualties.
