Bengaluru: Multiple cracks have appeared on the 350-meter-long stretch of Old Madras Road in Indiranagar
The road was built using rapid road technology. The rapid road project was meant to provide a quick and lasting solution to the city’s pothole problem.
However, barely a month after building a road using rapid road technology it has developed cracks. Other than the cracks, some parts of the concrete segments have also broken.
It may be recalled that while inaugurating the road on December 8, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had said the rapid road would not be taken up on other roads unless the pilot project was successful.
