KPTCL recruitment exam scam: Another job aspirant arrested for cheating

Belagavi: Another aspirant who wrote the KPTCL Junior Assistant examination has been arrested for cheating. With this, the total number of arrests for irregularities in the recruitment exam has risen to 50.

The accused arrested has been identified as Shivraj Lakshmipura Police Patil of Dargashirur village of Aland taluk of Kalburgi district. he has been remanded to judicial custody, police said.

It is alleged that Shivraj used electronic devices, including a microchip, for cheating during the examination held on August 7 last year. An electronic device, microchip, and a mobile phone were confiscated from him, police added.
