Road accident at Muloor: Businessman Balakrishna G Poojary passes away

Kapu: A person who was hit by a car on National Highway 66 in front of Muloor Billava Sangha on Sunday (January 15) evening died without responding to treatment.
The victim, Balakrishna G Poojary (60), a Mumbai-based businessman and honorary president of Muloor Brahmashree Narayan Guru Seva Sangha, breathed his last on January 16.
According to sources close to the family, Poojary had arrived here from Mumbai about two days ago and was residing at his home in Muloor Shashi Bhavan. He was returning home after visiting a shop on Sunday evening when the car rammed into him near his house. Seriously injured, Balakrishna Poojary was rushed to a private hospital in Udupi. However, he succumbed to the critical injuries sustained in the mishap.
Balakrishna Poojary was a well-known religious, social, and community leader in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
Condolences: The office bearers of the Muloor Brahmashree Narayan Guru Seva Sangha expressed their grief at the untimely passing of Balakrishna G Poojary.
