Belthangady: Police officials raided an illegal slaughterhouse near Maddadka and arrested three persons on January 20.
The arrested accused have been identified as Hamid (46) of Maddadka, Ismail (41) of Belur Gonibedi and Harris (30).
The Bajaran Dal workers informed police officials regarding the illegal slaughterhouse in Maddadka of Kuvettu village.
Following this, cops raided the premises and seized 55 kgs of beef and other equipment.
