Party was not built using bribe money: Pramod Madhwaraj hits back at Cong

Udupi: Hitting back at the Congress leaders Former Minister Pramod Madhwaraj said that the Congress party was not funded by extortion or bribery and that his family used their own money to develop the party.
Speaking at a press conference at Ammunje in Uppur, Madhwaraj said, “Without engaging in nepotism, our family invested their own money in the development of the Congress party. Siddaramaiah has switched five parties, including the Karnataka Raitha Sangh, Bharatiya Lok Dal, Samajwadi Janata Paksha, Janata Dal, Janata Dal Jatyatheetha (JDS), and Congress. He has no right to talk about me leaving the party. ”
He further said, “Siddaramaiah criticized me using harsh language during the Congress conference on January 22 in Udupi. This shows their culture. Dinesh Gundurao, the former president of the KPCC, and Siddaramaiah agreed to run as the JDS candidate in the last Lok Sabha elections. Siddaramaiah chose to give the JDS the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency rather than the Mysore constituency. This shows his selfishness. During that election, Siddaramaiah ran a campaign on my behalf. Congress district and block presidents have received funding for elections from JDS. I have never formally sworn allegiance to the JDS party. Technically, I joined to obtain a B form, and I submitted my resignation after the elections.”
“The Congress party was built by my Father Malpe Madhwaraj using his own funds. The sincerity and efficiency of mother Manorama Madhwaraj earned her a ticket from the party. When the Congress was destroyed in the district, I was charged with bringing it back to life. Congress is living in delusion. The brawl among the leaders intensifies as the ticket distribution begins. In the next assembly elections, BJP candidates will win in each of the district’s five assembly constituencies. The BJP will once again win a commanding majority in the state with 150 seats,” he added.
Madhwaraj said, “If given a party ticket, I will compete, win, and serve people. If not, I shall serve the party. The party leaders will decide on that.”
