Bengaluru: A Kannada film producer has been arrested by the police for allegedly cheating a Chikkaballapur man after promising to land him a a job as an officer in the technical division of Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF).
Acting on the complaint filed by the victim, Charan police arrested Prakash.
The complianant alleged that Prakash had sought Rs 20 lakh to get him the job and had been given an advance of Rs 10 lakh.
The KMF had conducted written examinations for various posts in December last year. Prakash had even issued an appointment letter to Charan after forging the official standard of the KMF director.
Adugodi Police is investigating the case.
