VIRAL: Vidyarthi Bhawan server likely to win gold at ‘Waiter Productivity’ Olympics

Vidyarthi Bhawan is one legendary restaurant serving South Indian delicacies for decades. While the chefs of the Vidyarthi Bhawan are famous for making crisp masala dosas laden with ghee and butter, batch after batch after batch. The waiters here have now gained the limlight for their extraordinary skill.
Business magnate Anand Mahindra who loves tweeting about things that amuse him, shared a video of a waiter at Vidyarthi Bhawan.
Taking to Twitter he wrote, ” “We need to get ‘Waiter Productivity’ recognized as an Olympic sport. This gentleman would be a contender for Gold in that event…”.

In Vidyarthi Bhawan, each batch has around 15-20 dosas, picked by one server. This unique skill of serving the dosas on the table by the experienced and happy staff of Vidyarthi Bhawan is special.
Vidyarthi Bhawan was started in 1943, By Venkatramana Ural and later passed on to his brother, Parameshwara Ural.
In 1954, the hotel was taken over by Ramakrishna Adiga. Over the last 68 years, the Adiga family has continued the legacy of the iconic restaurant, keeping the recipes and the taste of food intact.
As the name Vidyarthi Bhawan suggests, it was set up to feed the demands of the students of National High School and ‘Acharya Pathshala’.
