Moodbidri: 61-yo man murdered by tipper driver for asking to drive slowly

Moodbidri: A 61-year-old man was mowed down by a tipper truck driver for asking him to drive carefully.

The deceased has been identified as Fayaz, a resident of Kotebagilu in Moodbidri. The accused is Haris, a tipper truck driver.

Haris was driving the tipper fast, creating dust clouds, Fayaz after noticing it told the accused not to drive rashly generating dust near Kotebagilu Masjid.

While returning from the Masjid, the duo had a similar encounter and an argument broke out between the two.

Haris reportedly assaulted Fayaz with an iron rod on his head and drove the vehicle on him after he fell down from the step.

Due to the impact of the incident Fayaz died on the way to the hospital

Moodbidri police have registered a case of murder and are investigation is on.
