‘Monkey Man’ Jyoti Raju scales Gadaikallu in two hours

Belthangady: Karnataka’s ‘Monkey Man’, Jyoti Raj, scaled the Gadaikallu (Jamalabad Fort) Narasimha Ghada in Belthangady on February 12.

He set another record by becoming the first person to climb Gadaikallu which is 1700 feet above sea level.

After performing puja at Chandkur Sri Durgaparameshwari temple on Sunday morning, Kothi Raju began climbing the Gadaikallu around 9.30 am and finished within two hours.

He then unfurled the Kannada flag atop Gadaikallu.
