Forest dept nabs man-eater tiger

Kodagu: Forest department personnel successfully captured a tiger that had killed two persons in Kodagu in the past 2 days in Ponnampet Taluk here.
A boy had been killed on February 12. Following this, an elderly man was found mauled to death at Churikadu village of Pallari in Ponnampet Taluk early in the morning on February 13.
Fear had gripped the village following the animal attack. The outraged villagers are protesting for the “man-eating” tiger to be caught.
Accordingly, the forest department launched an operation to nab the tiger on Tuesday.
