Putur: Absconding accused in molestation case arrested

Puttur: Police have arrested an absconding accused in connection with the molestation of a woman in a bus a year ago.

The accused has been identified as Mohammed Sattar, a resident of Eswaramangala Denthadi.

In 2022, Mohammad Sattar was arrested by the police for allegedly molesting a woman in a bus. The accused, who was released on bail in the court, later went into hiding without appearing before the court.

The court had issued a warrant for his arrest.

Puttur City police produced him in court after his arrest. He has been granted conditional bail by the court.
