Mangaluru: Fire noticed at hillock close to Pachanady dump yard, doused

Mangaluru: Another fire broke out at a hillock in Pachandy close to the dump yard on Wednesday.
The fire was noticed in a bushy area in a hillock very close to the area where the city’s waste is being disposed of. The fire was first noticed at 2 pm on Wednesday, following which fire tenders from Kadri Fire station rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
It may be recalled that there was a huge fire at the dump yard about a month ago.
