Manipal: 42 students suspended for involvement in drug-related cases

Udupi Police Superintendent (SP) Hakay Akshay Machhindra informed that an educational institution in Manipal has suspended 42 students for a one-month period for their involvement in drug-related cases.

The institute issued a press release clarifying that they have a zero-tolerance policy for the consumption and sale of drugs.

The University has also provided counseling to addicts, the release said.
