Mangaluru: Depressed over failing to get job; Engineering student goes missing

Mangaluru: A 24-year-old student, Ranjala Ashish Prabhu, has gone missing since March 5th.

According to the complaint filed by his father, Ashish was struggling with depression due to his inability to secure a job.

Reportedly, Ashish left home without his mobile phone after his father advised him to continue his job search. He threatened to leave the house and has not been seen or heard from since.

The police have described Ashish as having a medium build, dark complexion, round face, and standing at 5.9 feet tall. He is fluent in Kannada, English, Hindi, and Konkani.

Anyone with information on Ashish’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Mangalore East station.
