As the next generation is moving forward along with technological advancements, nostalgia hits us hard. From wired connections in our homes, we saw it coming to our smartphones; from devices, we got to address the appliances with our fingertips just by tapping or clicking, and from that, we could access it with voice commands. Technology has evolved vastly from when it was first introduced to humankind, and further, how many advancements the coming generations will witness, there are no limitations to that.
We believe that when modern innovation and nature collaborate – great homes are built! Homes that resonate with the wisdom of nature while providing every comfort and convenience you seek. We offer smart homes that harness nature’s power and modern technology to create a world that is at once strikingly modern and soulfully natural.
Smart Homes- Reality of Today, Prediction of Tomorrow
The concept of a smart home is gaining importance in the current scenario as India is undergoing digital transformation, and we can see in the tier 1 cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Pune, the market for smart homes is increasing at the rate of 15-20%. This is due to an increased demand for ease and comfort, along with the growth of disposable incomes.
Due to the digital revolution, the Smart Homes market, which is currently the buzz of India, is predicted to surpass $14 billion in revenue by 2026, growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 29.8% during the forecast period 2019-2026, as indicated by India Home Automation Market Outlook. If you look at current consumer behaviour, people are increasingly buying things that help them make their houses smarter. The rate at which smart home technologies are being adopted in India is evidence that it won’t be long before every homeowner can boast that their house is smart.
Next-Gen opting for Sustainable Smart Homes
According to a Global Consumer Survey, “More than 1/3rd of the carbon dioxide emissions in the world come from residential buildings, but unfortunately, most homeowners are unaware of how their homes are affecting our environment. Our dwellings need to become more environmentally friendly if we want to attain net zero emissions globally by 2050, and fortunately, existing technologies allow us to build houses that are both smart and sustainable”. Since the next generation is so environmentally conscious, we have come up with a solution for them.
Players have been practicing sustainable features for over two decades now; for instance, for rainwater preservation, every little drop of water that touches the rooftops and walkways is recycled and reused via rainwater harvesting. We also provide huge fenestrations in homes for natural ventilation for major hours of the day, resulting in less energy consumption and avoiding unnecessary usage of electric devices. This ensures that the home stays naturally lit, with minimum dependence on appliances. Now, due to the development of smartphones and apps, we can regulate the temperature and lighting in our homes solely using our phones.
We design our architecture according to the site analysis such as sun path and wind direction, in order to allow maximum natural ventilation – inculcation of more open spaces will reduce the usage of energy consumption, leading to smart and sustainable living. As a homebuyer, smart homes are gradually assisting you in saving money by providing features such as energy efficiency monitoring and power-saving measures.
Home Automation as Smart Home for next-gen?
Home automation is considered one of the most necessary features of smart homes, as it keeps your home safe even when you’re not there. Now you can control your home on the go! Going forward, the demand for security will rise, resulting in technological advancements for home monitoring, to ensure the security of property as well as loved ones. A recent study by The Cocoon Effect found that 81% of respondents are concerned for their parents’ or kids’ safety when they leave them alone at home.
It goes without saying that the next-gen is attracted to the concept of smart homes, as it comes with a lot of effortless comforts and everything you can control with a little device, your smartphone. For instance, you can schedule the temperature of the AC before you reach home after an exhausting day at work to a cool, comfortable space. Now there are companies that have introduced devices to bridge the gap between traditional switchboards and the ones that have sensors on them. Or with the invention of sensors in washrooms, you don’t have to worry about finding the switch – now with technological advancements, the light will turn on the moment you open the door and will turn off automatically when not in use. All these features are in addition to what makes a home smart with comfort, convenience, efficiency, and sustainability.
In conclusion, the Indian market for smart home automation is undoubtedly very promising and poised to fundamentally transform Indian homes. Living in smart homes means that you will want for nothing as we transform homes from smart to sustainably smart. This is because every project we provide has sustainability at its heart.
