Mini Vidhana Soudha inaugurated at Kaup

The Mini Vidhana Soudha, a new administrative complex building, was inaugurated in Kaup. The initiative was undertaken by the Karnataka Housing Board under the guidance of Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon at a cost of Rs 10 crores.
The building was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission K Jayaprakash Hegde.
In his address, Hegde said the Mini Vidhana Soudha has been constructed with the aim of providing all government services under one roof. The new building is expected to function as a one-stop center for all government services required by the people. It is commendable that mini Vidhana Soudhas are being built at Kaup, Hebri, Bandur, and Brahmavar taluks, he added.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including Udupi DC Kurma Rao M, Superintendent of Polic e Hackay Akshay Machchindra, Kaup Town Planning Authority Chairman Sudama Shetty and other government officials.
Mendon, the Kaup MLA, spoke at the event and praised the hard work that had gone into constructing the mini Vidhana Soudha. He emphasized the importance of providing quality services to the public who come to the building.
The construction contractor, Kaup Sri Deviprasad Construction Pvt. Ltd., and several other officials involved in the project were also felicitated at the event.
