Mangaluru police destroy 11 kg ganja and other drugs seized

Mangaluru: Police officials safely destroyed a significant amount of illegal drugs seized from eight police stations under the city police commissionerate limits on Friday, March 24.
The destroyed drugs included 11.194 kilograms of ganja, and 0.014 grams of MDMA. The destruction process was carried out at Mulki M/s Ramky Energy and Environment Ltd in Dakshina Kannada district with the permission of the court.
Several police officers were present during the destruction process to ensure that the operation was carried out smoothly and without any disturbances. As many as ten people have been arrested in connection with these cases and produced before the court, police added.
