Mangaluru: 5-year-old boy killed in road accident

Mangaluru: A five-year-old boy was killed in a road accident after a two-wheeler on which he was travelling with his mother hit a bus in the city on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Hardik. The deceased boy was the son of an automobile shop owner in the city.

Hardik’s mother was also injured in the accident and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

The accident reportedly took place when the two-wheeler on which the mother-son duo was travelling tried to overtake a bus. During this, the two-wheeler hit another bus resulting in the accident. The boy was killed on the spot due to the severity of his injuries, while his mother sustained serious injuries.
