Puttur KSRTC bus station named after Koti-Chennaya

Puttur: KSRTC bus station at Puttr was named after the twin legendary heroes of Tulunad, Koti-Chennaya on March 26.

At a ceremony held on Sunday, KEONICS Chairman K. Harikrishna Bantwal and MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor unveiled the name plaque.

Karnataka Coastal Development Authority Chairman Chanila Thimmappa Shetty, District Collector Ravikumar M R, Puttur City Municipal Council President K. Jeevandhar Jain, former president of Puttur Billava Sangh Jayantha Nadubailu were present on the occasion.

MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor, who was responsible for naming the station after Koti-Chennaya, was honored by various organizations of the Billava Community.
