Mangaluru: A huge fire broke out at a warehouse at Adyar in the early hours of Tuesday, March 28.
The fire engulfed the Polar Ice Cream Super Stockist, which is a stockist of Nandini Ice Cream, at around 2 am. It is estimated that goods and property worth around Rs 5 crore were damaged in the incident.
Three fire engines worked for about four hours and brought the blaze under control.
It is believed that a short circuit may have started the fire.
It is learnt that Nandini Ice Cream from Karwar to Kasaragod was being supplied from this distribution center.
