Mangaluru: A local court granted bail to six Bajrang Dal workers, who were arrested on charges of disrupting a Holi party at Maroli here
On Sunday Bajrang Dal activists had barged into the Holi event, ‘Rang De Barsa’, and vandalised the premises. Young girls and boys were enjoying the Holi party, spraying colours on one another, when the right-wing outfit’s members disrupted the programme saying the youths were exhibiting indecent behaviour.
The situation was brought under control following police intervention and the six accused had been taken into custody.
The accused were produced before the court on Monday and subsequently released on bail.
