Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) winning a clear mandate in the upcoming legislative assembly elections.

Speaking to reporters, Poojary said, “The party has made all necessary preparations, and the SCs, STs, and OBC communities will support the BJP. Pre-poll surveys are merely surveys, and the BJP will surpass them to secure a resounding victory.  BJP has made strides in reservation policies, with the Yediyurappa and Bommai governments making significant contributions. For example, we have provided 17% reservations to backward communities and established 20 corporations. There would be no injustice to minority communities and they would receive more justice.”

Regarding the demand of the Bunt community to form a separate corporation, Srinivas promised to consider their request, given their historical support for the BJP and nationalism.

When asked about ticket distribution, Srinivas said, “The decision would be based on current MLAs, aspirants, and surveys conducted by central leaders. The opinions of party workers in each constituency would also be considered before making a final decision. The BJP is aiming to win 150 seats in the state to secure a clear mandate.”
