In an impressive feat, Yoga exponent Tanushree Pitrodi has set her 8th world record in the discipline of Natya Shastra. The accomplished practitioner entered the Golden Book of World Records by presenting 108 ‘karana’ postures described in the ancient text in just 3 minutes and 29 seconds.
The event, which took place at the Bannanje Narayana Guru Auditorium, witnessed Tanushree’s remarkable display of skill and dedication. The 108 karanas, a combination of leg movements, hand gestures, and body postures, have their origins in Lord Shiva and have been codified in the Natya Shastra.
