Ramanagara: Absconding accused, who killed man transporting cattle, arrested from Rajasthan

Karnataka police on Wednesday night arrested five persons, including main accused Puneeth Kerehalli from Rajasthan in connection with the killing of a man who was transporting cows and buffaloes.
On March 31, the victim Idris Pasha (35), a resident of Guttalu near Sathanur was transporting cows and buffaloes in a canter when he was waylaid by a group led by Puneeth. Pasha’s body was recovered on April 1.
Pasha’s family lodged a police complaint alleging that he had been beaten to death. Following this, the accused went absconding. Police had formed four teams to nab them.
