Nettana: Four, including a child killed in road mishap

Four people were killed and a few others sustained serious injuries in a tragic road accident that occurred on Tuesday, April 18 afternoon on the Uppinangady-Subrahmanya highway near the Nettana bridge.

The accident involved a head-on collision between an Alto car and a Typhoon.

The deceased, who hailed from Belur, included a child, two men, and a woman. Those in the typhoon were reportedly from Hassan.

The car was traveling toward Kukke Subramanya temple and Typhoon was going toward Dharamasthala when the collision happened.

The injured individuals have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
