Doddaballapura: 7-yo boy bitten by snake while sleeping; dies

Doddaballapura: In a tragic incident, a 7-year-old boy died after being bitten by a snake while he was sleeping.

The victim identified as Maunik M. Naik, son of Manjunath Naik and Sumitra of Bairapur Tanda in Doddaballapura taluk was enrolled in Class 2 in Gurukula School.

As per reports, Maunik was bitten by a snake when he was sleeping with his mother at their house. However, none realised it at the moment. Later around 2 am the family woke up upon hearing Maunik’s wailing and took him to a hospital.

He however died without responding to the treatment.
