BJP state president & Sangh Parivar responsible, if I were killed: Satyajit Surathkal alleges

Mangaluru: Satyajit Surathkal accused that his security has been recalled by the government on the pretext of elections, leaving him vulnerable to potential threats.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Satyajit alleged that the government had given a free rein to his potential killers by recalling his security cover and also taking away his revolver.

Security cover was provided by the police due to a threat to his life, he said, and added that if anything happened to him, the BJP state president and leaders of the Sangh Parivar would be held responsible.

Surathkal also claimed that he had informed the Home Minister and leaders of the Sangh Parivar about the situation, but there was no response from them to address his concerns. He maintained that the threat against him was not due to his personal matters, but rather came as a result of his work for the benefit of the nation and Hindutva.

Despite the potential danger, Surathkal asserted that he was not afraid and would continue his work. He stated that if he were to be killed, no leader of the Sangh Parivar should come to his last darshan, nor should there be a funeral procession.
