Udupi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be campaigning for BJP in poll-bound Karnataka on May 6. Yogi Adityanath will begin the election campaign from Sringeri on May 6 morning whereafter he will reach Puttur at 12.30 pm.
He will participate in a program to be held at Bantwal at 2 pm, Karkala at 3.30 pm, and Honnavar at 5 pm. He will be staying at Murudeshwara, informed Mangalore Division in-charge Uday Kumar Shetty Kidiyoor.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convention will be held at Mulki on May 3.
Priyanka Gandhi to campaign on May 7
Days after Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Mangaluru ahead of the Karnataka polls, Priyanka Gandhi is expected to arrive in the city on May 7.
It is gathered that Congress leaders are focussing on the preparations for Priyanka Gandhi’s roadshow on May 7 in a grand manner in Mulki, where PM Modi will address a convention on May 3.
Rahul Gandhi had already participated in a program in the city on April 27. During his stay here Rahul enjoyed the local seafood and Gadbad ice cream before leaving for Kalaburagi the next day morning.
The Karnataka elections will be held on May 10 and counting of votes will take place on May 13.
