Mangaluru: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL), a public sector enterprise under the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has issued a warning to the public and job aspirants regarding fraudulent job recruitment.
According to MRPL, some individuals are cheating people by claiming to provide employment opportunities in the company. MRPL has emphasized that its recruitment process is transparent and that apart from the specified application fee, no other payments are received for recruitment.
Furthermore, MRPL has clarified that any recruitment done under the name of ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL) is fraudulent, as OMPL has been merged with MRPL. The company has stated that all job openings are posted on its official website, and no person or organization has been authorized to recruit, offer recruitment, or collect funds on behalf of MRPL.
Dr. Rudolph Noronha, the General Manager of Corporate Communication at MRPL, urged the public and job aspirants not to fall for such fraud and to be cautious when dealing with job offers in the name of the company.
