Sandalwood actor Sudeep’s road show in Turuvihal was abruptly cut short on Thursday, May 4.

The event was scheduled to begin after 4:30 pm and Sudeep arrived on time at Turuvihal after traveling by car from the Circuit House helipad.

However, the situation quickly turned chaotic as fans and BJP workers swarmed around Sudeep’s vehicle, preventing it from moving forward. There was also lack of police control over the massive crowd gathered to see the actor.

Despite attempts to calm the crowd, Sudeep was eventually forced to abandon the roadshow. The situation worsened when BJP workers tore a JDS party banner and pelted stones at the campaign vehicle.

A case has been registered on the basis of a complaint filed by JDS party secretary Shalam Uddar.
