Chikkamagaluru: Armed robbers attack former MLA, flee with valuables

Chikkamagaluru: Armed robbers reportedly attacked the house of a former MLA in Gadihalli of Ajjampur taluk.
Miscreants armed with guns and machetes reportedly broke into the farmhouse of SM Nagaraj and attacked the former legislator with weapons, before robbing him of more than 1 kg of gold ornaments and cash.
The incident occurred during the election season, raising suspicions of political motivations behind the assault. Local police have launched an investigation.
