Shivamogga: Fatal bus collision leaves five dead

Two buses collided head-on in Charandi village of the taluk on Thursday evening leaving at least five people dead and over 70 others injured.
The incident occurred near Kumdvati Bridge.
Police officials retrieved three lifeless bodies from the wreckage. Efforts to extract the remaining victims are reportedly ongoing.
A case has been registered.
