DK Deputy Commissioner expresses gratitude for ensuring peaceful electoral process

Mangaluru: The Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district, Ravikumar M R, expressed his gratitude to all those involved in ensuring a peaceful polling process and the successful counting of votes in the eight assembly constituencies of the district. The counting, which took place from 8 am to 2 pm on Saturday, May 13, concluded without any major incidents.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured six out of the eight seats in DK, while candidates from the Indian National Congress won the remaining two seats. The DC extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winning representatives.

Deputy Commissioner Ravikumar M R took the opportunity to extend his sincere appreciation to the officials, candidates, and party agents from various political parties who directly and indirectly contributed to the smooth conduct of the vote-counting process. He also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the Mangaluru Police Commissioner, the District Superintendent of Police, and their teams in maintaining law and order throughout the district. Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner expressed his gratitude towards the officials from outside the district who diligently fulfilled their election duties.

Furthermore, Ravikumar M R conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the people of Dakshina Kannada district, emphasizing their role in maintaining law and order during the election period.
