Kundapura: Car knocks down scooter; Rider injured

Thekkatte: A scooter rider was seriously injured after being knocked down by a car on National Highway 66 in front of Kuvempu Centenary Government Higher Primary School.

The Maruti Swift car involved in the accident was moving towards Kerala from Kollur.

It is said that the car was speeding and it crashed into the TVS Jupiter vehicle moving on the same route. Amar Shetty (35) who was riding the scooter sustained serious injuries to his leg.  He was rushed to a private hospital.

Kota police have registered a case.
