K-RIDE invites bid for design and construction of 12 stations for Bengaluru suburban rail project

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Rail Infrastructure Development Company (K-RIDE) on Friday issued e-tender invitation for the work of design and construction of 12 stations along the Corridor-2 or ‘Mallige Line’ of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP).

According to a statement issued by K-RIDE, these 12 stations along Corridor-2, includes two elevated stations at Chikkabanavara and Mathikere, two elevated interchange stations at Benniganahalli and Yeshwanthpur and rest eight At-Grade stations at Kasturi Nagar, Seva Nagar, Banaswadi, Nagawara, Kanaka Nagar, Hebbal, Shettyhalli and Mydarahalli.

The tender work among others include steel foot-over-bridge, roof structures, entry, and exit structures, PEB works for stations with all associated works for Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) along with detailed ‘Design and Engineering for Architectural finishes and E&M Works’.

However, it excludes ‘construction’ of Architectural finishes and E&M Works, the K-RIDE said adding, the last date for submission of bids is August 8, 2023 by 3 pm.
