PTI, May 30, 2023, 9:05 AM IST

A youth from Koila Village here tragically ended his own life while employed abroad.

The deceased has been identified as Sandesh (32). He was working as a line salesman for a water company in Muscat, Oman, and was found hanging in his room on Sunday afternoon.

Sandesh had returned to his duties in Muscat eight months ago. He lived with his brother Santosh and another of his relative named Charan in an apartment.

Sandesh reportedly returned to his room after completing his duty and allegedly committed suicide at around 10.30 AM. When Charan later attempted to enter Sandesh’s room, he discovered the door locked and received no response despite knocking. Growing concerned, Charan promptly contacted Santosh, who had a key to the room.

Upon entering the room, they found Sandesh hanging.

Family sources have indicated that the deceased left behind a note with a single line that read, “Sorry Anna” (Sorry big brother). He had a good job and a stable income, sources said. However, the exact reason for Sandesh’s extreme step remains unknown.

Suicide is preventable. If you get any such thoughts, consult or seek expert help.
