Vittal: Two injured in attack by miscreants; case filed

A group of individuals allegedly carried out a violent assault on two victims, resulting in severe injuries on Saturday in Ajalumogaru village.

The victims, identified as Mohammad Sarwan (27) and his colleague Farooq, were traveling in a car when the accused, Jaseel, Isubu, Ziyad, Usman, Sharif, and three others, all residents of Kambalabettu Urimajalu, attacked them.

Mohammad Sarwan suffered blows to his face, back, and stomach and was also trampled upon by the assailants. When Farooq attempted to intervene and protect Sarwan, he was struck on the head and back with a wooden stick.

They are currently receiving treatment for their injuries.

A case has been registered.
