Ramanagara: KPCC president DK Shivakumar on Saturday, June 3 said that though his supporters voted for him to make him the chief minister of the state his party’s high command has made him the deputy chief minister.

“I will always respect Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi’s words. In the coming days, something good will happen and I’ll definitely become the CM of the state,” said DK Shivakumar.

He made the above statement during his maiden visit to Kanakpura after winning the polls.

“I entered politics at a very small age. Despite any position, I am still your son. My dream is to make Kanakapura a model village, and have already discussed this with CM Siddaramaiah. I want to build a medical college here,” he added.
