Ravi D Channannavar transferred as DIG of Internal Security Division

The state government has recently issued an order for the transfer of Kionix MD Ravi D Channannavar. He has now been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Internal Security Division.
This move is part of the ongoing transition process within the new state government. Alongside Channannavar’s transfer, four other IPS officers, including Alok Kumar, have also been reassigned to different positions on Wednesday.
Alok Kumar, previously entrusted with the responsibility of Law and Order, has been transferred to ADGP Traffic and Road Safety. Umesh Kumar, on the other hand, has been appointed as ADGP Crime & Technical Services. R Hitendra will assume the role of ADGP Law and Order, and Soumendu Mukherjee has been designated as ADGP Police Administration.
