Katapady: One killed in bus-motorbike collision

 A 32-year-old man was killed in a road accident at the Katapady junction on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Iqbal, a resident of Katapady Sarkari Gudde. He was a jasmine flower trader.

According to sources, Iqbal was riding a bike on the eastern side service road of National Highway 66 at Katapady when a bus moving towards Mangaluru rammed into him. Though he was rushed to a hospital by locals, he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Kaup police have reached the spot.
