New Jersey restaurant launches special “Modi Ji Thali” in honor of PM Modi’s US visit

A restaurant based in New Jersey has introduced a unique thali in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the United States.

Shripad Kulkarni, the owner of the restaurant and an individual of Indian descent, stated that “Modi Ji Thali” was specially crafted in response to the requests of the local Indian community.

In a video shared by ANI, Mr. Kulkarni can be seen providing details about the “Modi Ji Thali”. This colorful thali encompasses delectable dishes from various regions of India, such as Khichdi, rasgulla, sarson ka saag, Kashmiri dum aloo, idli, dhokla, chaach, and papad.

The restaurant owner mentioned that numerous individuals have already savored the special thali. Several customers, who also appeared in the video, expressed their admiration for the food and highlighted the thali’s immense popularity within the Indian community.

However, the exact price of the thali has not been disclosed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the United States from June 21-24 on an invitation from US President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
