Former member of Municipal Council Radhakrishna Pai no more

Udupi: The younger brother of late Diana Mohandas Pai, a well-known businessman of the city and a former member of the city council, M. Radhakrishna Pai (89) died on Saturday, June 17 morning at a private hospital in Udupi.

He was a former member of the Municipal Council during Dr. VS Acharya’s tenure. He also owned Radhakrishna Provision Stores.

The funeral of M. Radhakrishna Pai will be held today at his residence, located near Prasana Diana Talkies. The grieving family has announced that the last rites will be conducted at Bedina Gudde at a later time.

The deceased is survived by his wife and son Ramananda Pai.
