Kasaragod: Two brothers meet a watery grave

Kasaragod: In a tragic incident that unfolded on Saturday, two young brothers lost their lives after drowning in a pond at Mogral Koppala.
The victims have been identified as Naseem (22) and Naadil (17), sons of Khader and residents of Manjeshwar Majibail.
The ill-fated incident reportedly occurred when Naseem and Naadil ventured into the pond for a bath.
On seeing the duo in distress, locals rushed to their aid and managed to bring them out of the water. The brothers were rushed to the nearest hospital, but could not be saved.
Their mortal remains have been transferred to the mortuary of the taluk hospital located in Mangalpady.
A case has been registered at the Kumble police station.
