Mumbai: Actor Kriti Sanon on Tuesday announced her foray into film production with her banner Blue Butterfly Films and said she will back stories that will “touch people’s heart”.
The 32-year-old actor, who has been in the film industry for close to a decade, shared the announcement on her Instagram page.
“And Its time to shift the gear! I’ve been in this magical industry living my dreams for 9 years. I’ve taken baby steps, learnt, evolved & grown into the actor I am today! I absolutely lovvvee every bit and aspect of filmmaking (sic),” Sanon wrote.
“And now, it’s time to do more, to be more, to learn more, to tell more stories that touch my heart and hopefully yours too. Here’s to constantly evolving and finding the most beautiful version of yourself,” she added.
The actor teased she will be announcing “something special” on Wednesday.
“Beyond excited to finally start BLUE BUTTERFLY FILMS with a full heart and big dreams!!,” the actor, who was last seen on the big screen in “Adipurush”, said.
On the acting front, Sanon’s upcoming projects include dystopian action thriller “Ganpath” with Tiger Shroff, a romantic-drama opposite Shahid Kapoor, and “The Crew” alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu.
