Bantwal: In an incident that took place near Tumbe here, a car jumped over the divider and rammed into an electric pole after its driver lost control of the vehicle.
The driver, Nawaz, a resident of Belthangadi escaped unhurt in the mishap. It is gathered that he was proceeding toward Mangaluru when the mishap took place.
A portion of the car was crushed owing to the impact of the collision.
