The relentless downpour over the past two days has resulted in a significant incident on the Vittal-Mangaluru road, where a massive hill collapsed, leading to a complete disruption of vehicular traffic.

The unfortunate event took place near Veerakambha, causing grave inconvenience for commuters and residents alike.

Prompt action was taken in response, as a team of officials, under the guidance of Bantwal Tehsildar D.S. Koodalagiri, swiftly mobilized to assess the extent of the damage and explore potential solutions.
